The industrial entry to the West Elm Maker's Studio with orange painted doors.

Conceived, designed, and built in coordination with the CEO and creative team at West Elm, this 11,600 square foot, multi-disciplinary design studio facilitates the creative process behind nearly everything in the brand’s home furnishing collection.

Specifically outfitted by VMAD to match the requirement of each creative team, there are seven separate workrooms including a ceramic studio, weaving studio, craft and painting studio, dye shop, jewelry and metal work studio, and a carpentry workshop. Flooded with ample sunlight, the grand-scale, crisp-white spaces provide the perfect backdrop for the artists and artisans that populate the bustling space.
